This easy summer coat is knitted sideways from sleeve to sleeve and the edging is added afterwards

This coat is knitted with exactly one Big Ball. Do not make it longer than indicated otherwise one won’t be enough
What do you need?
- 1 ball ELLE BIG BALL in Foggy Woods (500 g)
- 5.5 mm circular needle

Pattern stitch
Over multiples of 3 plus 2 end stitches
1st row: k1, *k1, yrn, k2tog, rep from * to end, k1.
2nd row: k1, *k1, yrn, k2tog (work the yrn st and k st from previous row throughout), rep from * to end, k1. Rep only 2nd row.

Instructions
C/on 56(62) st loosely. Work 8 rows in ms. Start with pat and continue till sleeve measures about 17(20) cm, ending with RS row and c/on 60 sts loosely. 116(122) sts
Next row: work 7 sts in ms, pat (without end stitch) across 51 of next 53 sts, k1, yrn, k2tog (53rd stitch and end st of back), pat to end of row and c/on 60 sts. 176(182) sts. Work 7 sts in ms, pat to last 7 sts, ms 7 sts. Continue with 7 ms sts on either side and pat till work measures about 16(20) cm from c/on stitches for front and back, ending with an RS row.
Next row: c/off 88(91) sts from left front, pat to end. Continue in pat across rem 88(91) sts till back measures about 16(21) cm from c/off of left front for back of neck, ending with an RS row, c/on 88(91) sts for right front. 176(182) sts. Continue in pat with ms edges till work measures 16(20) cm from c/on for front, ending with RS row.
Next row: c/off 60 sts, pat to end.
Next row: c/off 60 sts, pat to end. Continue in pat across these 56(62) sts till sleeve is same length as other sleeve to ms edge, ending with 8 rows ms. C/off.
EDGE
With RS front start bottom right, pick up and k 300 sts right around edge (it works out at 2 sts in opening from one row and 1 st in next row). Work in ms for about 16 rows or till yarn is used up. C/off.
ANOTHER OPTION FOR EGDE C/on 9 sts and work in ms till it fits around right front, across neck and down left front if it is stretched a bit. C/off and sew around edge.
