Colours used: Vinnis Colours Nikkim DK (50 g balls): Kingfisher, Baby Yellow, Navy and White.

Crochet hook: 3,25 mm

Abbreviations (American terminology) and stitch explanations:

beg = begin, ch = chain, cl = cluster, dc = double crochet, gp = group, rep = repeat, rnd = round, sc = single crochet, ss = slip stitch, sp = spase, st = stitch, tr = treble.

 

Picot:

Crochet 3 ch, ss in 1^st ch.

 

Cluster (2 dc-cl):

1. Wrap the yarn around the hook and insert the hook in the next stitch.
2. Do not complete the stitch. There are two loops on the hook.
3. Crochet the next stitch in the same way. There are three loops on the hook.
4. Wrap the yarn over the hook and pull it through the three loops on the hook.

 

Treble crochet stitch:

1. Wrap the yarn twice over hook.
2. Insert the hook in next stitch.
3. Wrap the yarn again over hook and draw through the first loop leaving four loops on the hook.
4. Wrap the yarn again over hook and draw through two loops.
5. Wrap the yarn over hook and draw through next two loops on hook.

Wrap the yarn again over hook and draw through two last loops on hook.

 

Pattern:

With Yellow, crochet 4 ch, join into ring with ss in 1^st ch.

1^st rnd: 1 ch, 8 sc in ring, ss in 1^st sc.

2^nd rnd: 1 ch, 2 sc in every sc to end, ss in beg-sc = 16 sc. Fasten off.

3^rd rnd: with Kingfisher; 1 ch, 1 sc in the same st, 4 ch, 1 sc in the same st, 1 sc in next 3 sc, *(1 sc, 4 ch, 1 sc) in next sc, 1 sc in next 3 sc; rep from * to end, ss in beg-sc.

4^th rnd: ss in 4 ch-sp, 3 ch, (2 dc, picot, 3 dc) in the same sp, skip 2 sc, 1 sc in next sc, *(3 dc, picot, 3 dc) in next 4 ch-sp, skip 1 sc, 1 sc in next sc; rep from * to end, ss in top of beg-3 ch. Fasten off.
