Here is the pattern for Moroccan crochet square #6

Colours used: Vinnis Colours Nikkim (50 g balls): Kingfisher, Peach, Baby Yellow, Green Slate, Cloud Blue, Aubergine and White.

Crochet hook: 3,25 mm

Abbreviations (American terminology) and stitch explanations:

beg = begin , ch = chain, cl = cluster, dc = double crochet, ftr = front of stem treble stitch, hdc = half double crochet, gr = group, rep = repeat, rnd = round, sc = single crochet, ss = slip stitch, sp = space, st = stitch, tog = together, tr = treble.

 

Cluster (2 dc-cl):

1. Wrap the yarn around the hook and insert the hook in the next stitch.
2. Do not complete the stitch. There are two loops on the hook.
3. Crochet the next stitch in the same way. There are three loops on the hook.
4. Wrap the yarn over the hook and pull it through the three loops on the hook.

 

Front treble stitch:

1. Wrap the yarn twice over the hook.
2. Insert the hook from the front around the back of the stem and to the front again.
3. Wrap the yarn over the hook and pull a loop through to the front.
4. (Yarn over hook and pull through 2 loops) twice.
5. Yarn over hook and pull through the last 2 stitches on the hook.

 

Pattern:

With Aubergine, crochet 4 ch, join into ring with ss into 1^st ch.

1^st rnd: 1 ch, 8 sc in ring, ss in 1^st sc. Fasten off.

2^nd rnd: with Baby Yellow; 1 ch, 2 sc in the same st, 2 sc in every sc to end, ss in beg-sc = 16 sc. Fasten off.
