Here is the pattern for Moroccan crochet square #3

Colours used:

Vinnis Colours Nikkim DK (50 g balls): Baby Yellow, Kingfisher, Cloud Blue, Green Slate, Aubergine and White.

Crochet Hook: 3,25 mm

 

Abbreviations (American Terminology) and stitch explanations :

beg = begin, ch = chain, cl = cluster, dc = double crochet, hdc = half double crochet, rep = repeat, rnd = round, sc = single crochet, ss = slip stitch, sp = space, st = stitch, tr = treble.

 

Cluster (2 dc-cl):

1. Wrap the yarn around the hook and insert the hook in the next stitch.
2. Do not complete the stitch. There are two loops on the hook.
3. Crochet the next stitch in the same way. There are three loops on the hook.
4. Wrap the yarn over the hook and pull it through the three loops on the hook.

 

Treble crochet stitch:

1. Wrap the yarn twice over hook.
2. Insert the hook in next stitch.
3. Wrap the yarn again over hook and draw through the first loop leaving four loops on the hook.
4. Wrap the yarn again over hook and draw through two loops.
5. Wrap the yarn over hook and draw through next two loops on hook.

Wrap the yarn again over hook and draw through two last loops on hook.

 

Picot: 3 ch, ss in the 1^st ch

 

Pattern:

With Aubergine, crochet 4 ch, join into ring with ss in 1^st ch.

1^st rnd: 1 ch, 8 sc in ring, ss in 1^st sc.

2^nd rnd: 1 ch, 2 sc in the same st and in every st to end, ss in beg-sc = 16 sc. Fasten off.
