Size
It is loose fitting, so it should fit a size 71–97(101–127; 132–157 cm)
Tension
15 st and 20 rows = 10 cm

beg – beginning; inc – increase; k – knit; ms – moss stitch: 1st row: *k1, p1, rep from * and end with k1. Rep 1st row; pat – pattern; p – purl; rem – remaining; rep – repeat; sl1p – slip one purlwise; WS(F) – wrong side (facing); yb – yarn to back; y fwd – yarn forward
Pattern stitch
Multiples of 4 plus 3
1st row: *k3, sl1p, rep from * to last 3 st, k3.
2nd row: p3, *yb sl1p, y fwd p3, rep from * to end.
3rd row: *k3, sl1p, rep from * to last 3 st, k3.
4th row: k.
5th row: k1, *sl1p, k3, rep from * to last 2 st, sl1p, k1.
6th row: p1, *yb sl1p, y fwd p3, rep from * to last 2 st, yb sl1p, p1.
7th row: k1, *sl1p, k3, rep from * to last 2 st, sl1p, k1.
8th row: k.
Rep 1st to 8th row.
Method
Back
**Cast on 95(111; 127) st and work 6 rows in ms.
Next row: ms6, 1st row of pat, ending with ms6.
Next row: ms6, 2nd row of pat, ending with ms6.
Continue like this with ms edge and pat till back measures 66(68; 70) cm, ending with WS row.
Shape shoulder
Cast on 6(8; 9) st at beg of next 8 rows, then 7(7; 10) st at beg of next 2 rows. Keep rem 33(33; 35) st on stitch holder.
Front
Work like back till front measures about 40(42; 44) cm.
Buttonhole strip: ms2, cast off 3 st, ms1, pat to ms edge, ms1, cast off 3 st, ms2.
Next row: ms2, cast on 3 st, ms1, pat to ms edge, ms1, cast on 3 st, ms2.
Continue in this way with the ms edge and pat till front measures 47(48; 49) cm.
Next row: pat 36(44; 52) st, ms23, pat 36(44; 52).
Continue with pat 36(44; 52) st, ms 23, pat 36(44; 52) till front measures 50(51; 52) cm, ending with WS row.
Shape neck
Pat 47(55; 63), cast off 1 st, pat 47(55; 63).
Continue over last 47(55; 63) st till it measures like back up to shoulder, ending with RS row.
Shape shoulder
Cast off 6(8; 9) st at start of next and following alt rows 3 times.
Pat 1 row and cast off 7(7; 10) st at beg of next row. Retain rem 16(16; 17) st on stitch holder.
With WSF join yarn to rem 47(55; 63) st and complete as first half, but shape shoulder on other side.
Collar
With RS together close shoulder seams. With WSF, beg left front, slip all stitches from stitch holders on one needle. 65(65; 69) st.
Next row: k and inc 10 st evenly over row, excl ms edges. 75(75; 79) st.
Work in ms for about 16 rows. Cast off in ms.
To finish off
Sew button on back opposite buttonhole. Lay down flat, cover with damp cloth and leave to dry. Follow care instructions on yarn label.
